From rainforest trails to river canyon
Your journey begins with a short drive to the river canyon, followed by a 10-minute walk through the forest. Along the way, you’ll be surrounded by lush vegetation and the sounds of the rainforest.
At the base of the canyon, you will visit a traditional Maleku village, where local natives will share a 15-minute introduction to their culture, medicinal practices, and traditions.
Tubing adventure on the Arenal River
After the cultural experience, you will gear up and receive a safety briefing before heading to the river.
The tubing experience includes:
- Navigating Class I, II, and III rapids
- Paddling with your hands through crystal-clear water
- Passing through rock formations and small waterfalls
- Surrounded by dense tropical vegetation
This is a fun and refreshing adventure suitable for those looking for moderate adrenaline in a natural setting.
Relax and continue your day
After the tubing experience, you will return to the base facilities where changing rooms are available before heading back to La Fortuna.
Additionally, the tour includes access to the Montaña de Fuego thermal mineral hot pools and volcanic mud, offering a relaxing way to end your adventure.
